We love to have visitors! You are welcome to make arrangements to come meet our family of Jacks. Please know there will be precautions taken to prevent Parvo from inadvertently being brought onto our property and exposing our puppies. If you bring your dog, he/she MUST remain in your vehicle. No exceptions!
We welcome you to visit your puppy AFTER the puppy is two weeks old. This gives the momma and her puppies time to recover from delivery. Also, until that point, the pups only eat and sleep. At about 2 weeks old their eyes open and they start to explore their surroundings a little bit.
We accept Cash & personal checks made out to Kelly Goswick. We also accept Credit/Debit cards via PayPal. If paying by check, the puppy must be paid for in full BEFORE 6 weeks old.
Full payment is required before your puppy can leave.
You will be notified when your puppy is ready to go to his/her new home. This is usually 8 weeks of age. If your puppy remains in our care longer than 10 days after notification, there will be a $25 boarding charge added to the cost of your puppy. Arrangements to pick up or have your puppy delivered MUST be made before or at the time of notification that your puppy is ready. If we do not hear from you and arrangements are not made within 10 days we will assume you no longer want the puppy and it will be sold to someone else.
Typically our puppies are $1050 pet only and $1250 with full breeding rights. For various reasons, we occasionally have puppies that sell for less.
We invest a substantial amount of time and resources in each individual puppy and parent dog to make sure you are getting a high quality, intelligent, healthy, happy, well socialized member of your family.
We raise high quality dogs with some of the best and oldest bloodlines of the breed. Better bloodlines produce better, healthier puppies. Whether you want to compete, show, or just have a family companion, quality, health tested dogs produce quality puppies that have healthy, long lives.
We require a $300 non-refundable deposit to hold a puppy or secure a "pick" of a litter. This deposit is deducted from the price of the puppy.
This deposit is your guarantee that we will not place the puppy of your choice with someone else. This deposit is also our guarantee that you will be purchasing the puppy you specified when you placed your deposit. When you place a deposit, we take that puppy off the available list. PLEASE be certain you want the puppy before you place a deposit. Deposits are not refundable but are transferable to another litter. We do our best to help you find the puppy you desire. We know sometimes life happens & circumstances change, therefore your deposit can be transferred for up to 2 years if requested BEFORE the puppy you put the deposit on turns 4 weeks old. If you decide not to take the puppy after that point then you forfeit your deposit. Deposits made on a puppy older than 4 weeks are NOT transferrable. We do NOT transfer deposits to another person besides the original depositor.
*** Goswick Shorty Jacks has the right to first pick on any litter whenever necessary for the benefit of our breeding program. This does not happen very often. When it is necessary to keep a puppy for our program, those who have placed deposits on the litter will choose from the remaining puppies or can have their deposit transferred to another litter. We try to reserve 1st pick prior to taking deposits, but sometimes the unexpected happens. ***
We almost always have several people in line waiting to choose a puppy. Therefore, if you put a deposit down to secure the first pick male or female, you MUST choose your puppy within 5 days of birth.
All puppies are sold with registration application papers, health record, puppy care instructions & health guarantee. All puppies will have their tails docked & dew claws removed at 3 days old. Puppies will be wormed every 2 weeks until they reach 8 weeks of age. Their nails will be clipped every 2 weeks as well. Each puppy will receive their first vaccination at 6 weeks of age. We will continue the vaccinations at 9 weeks, 12 weeks and again at 16 weeks as long as the puppy is in our care. We provide everything possible to produce a healthy, sound puppy by raising the puppy the best possible way in regards to diet, exercise, socialization, and health care.
We CANNOT guarantee the puppy's ear type, nose pigment, coat type or color, height or weight at maturity.
We realize that life happens. If there ever comes a time that you are unable to keep this dog and do not have a loving family to give him/her to please return the dog to us along with registration papers and current health/vaccination records. We will re-home him/her with a loving family.
What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs.
Buyer must have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian WITHIN 72 HOURS of time of pickup or delivery, or guarantee is not applicable. If upon this examination, the puppy is other than healthy, you should contact the breeder as soon as possible and the puppy could possibly be returned to the breeder immediately, and the purchase price will be refunded or the puppy can be replaced, whichever the buyer prefers. (Breeder has the right to ask for a 2nd opinion by a licensed Vet before refund/replacement) Minor problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, wormy stool, intestinal parasites, etc. are common problems among puppies and will not be covered by this warranty. Goswick Shorty Jacks
It is your responsibility to maintain the puppy's health condition, vaccinations, heart worm and flea/tick prevention to ensure good health. It is YOUR responsibility to protect your puppy from exposure to Parvo. We go OUT OF OUR WAY to protect our dogs and puppies from this deadly virus, but once they leave our home it becomes your responsibility. Parvo is transferred via feces and lives in the ground. It is highly contagious so please avoid rest areas, dog parks, service stations, or anywhere else infected dogs may have defecated until your puppy has had all his/her required vaccinations.
We do not ship our puppies. We either hand deliver or send to you through a 3rd party Pet travel nanny.
